DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will perform semi-skilled work in the construction and maintenance of State Game Lands, facilities, infrastructure, wildlife habitat and resource areas. You will also assist with the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, signs, and ranges; conduct or assist with border cuts using a chainsaw, as well as prescribed burns using fire fighting equipment; and conduct or assist with herbicide and pesticide transportation and storage as well as mixing and application. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment: or One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or One year of construction equipment operation experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements: This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. This position requires the selected candidate to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.
