Salary: $225,000 - $250,000 per year

Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Health Specialist who will guide the patients' plan to optimize and achieve wellness goals. This is achieved through the practice of integrative medicine using traditional & non-traditional methods, revolutionary diagnostics, and our proven protocols developed by the medical team.

As a Functional Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. You must have a DEA license, be board certified, and have experience in clinical diagnostics, medicine, functional medicine, A4M, IFM, Apex, telemedicine, CPT coding, insurance, clinical documentation, prescribing medications, bio-identical hormone therapy (BHRT), pellet insertion, and the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and treatment
  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and BHRT
  • Insert pellets for hormone therapy
  • Utilize telemedicine to provide virtual care when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with CPT coding and insurance regulations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and techniques
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Must have a DEA license and be board certified
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical diagnostics, medicine, functional medicine
  • Has experience with telemedicine, CPT coding, insurance, clinical documentation, prescribing medications, pellet insertion experience (preferred)
  • Training and experience in assessment and prescribing for suitability for Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT)
  • Integrative Medicine fellowship is preferred (A4M, IFM, Apex, etc.)
  • Eligible for registration with Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and treatment
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
