Proksi Systems seeks a Fully Qualified Navy Validator Level III (FQNV) to join our winning team. Role Summary:
This critical role supports the Department of the Navy's mission by ensuring the security and compliance of various IT systems through rigorous assessment and authorization processes under the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The position requires deep knowledge and experience in the Authority To Operate (ATO) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and operational phases of Navy business IT systems. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive RMF assessments for Navy IT systems.
- Validate system security requirements and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and program managers throughout the ATO/A&A process.
- Develop and maintain critical A&A documentation such as System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
- Lead and mentor teams in the validator role, providing expertise in Navy IT security and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Greater than four (4) years' experience in cybersecurity, specifically with Navy A&A, and RMF.
- Required certifications (at least one): CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or an approved technical related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Navy ATO/A&A guidance effectively.
- Proven track record of managing ATO/A&A processes for complex IT systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and system technical aspects.
- This position is an IAM Level III in the Cyber Security Workforce. Why Join Us:
