Full Stack Software Developer Intern - Summer 2024 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CACI is seeking a Full Stack Developer Intern to join our Defense Personal Property System (DPS) and serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing software development and maintenance for the delivery of releasable software in short sprint cycles. You will be responsible for activities associated with delivery of software solutions associated with customer-defined systems and software projects by working in close collaboration with software developers/engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes. You will be a part of a dynamic, close-knit team of mid- to senior-level professionals therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. What You'll Get to Do: Be a part of a dynamic, close-knit team of mid- to senior-level professionals. Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight Act as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a "do what it takes" attitude to ensure product and team success Provide improvements to the product(s) being supported Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases Support release planning with conceptual design and development / refinement of software engineering guidelines Demonstrates ability to think innovatively in their work product and solutions. Responsible for making minor changes in technical systems and processes to solve problems. Identifies, defines and addresses problems that are not immediately evident but typically not complex. Problems are typically within the immediate technical job area. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or established procedures and basic analysis. Present ideas for system improvements. Conduct impact analysis for software changes. Produce detailed specifications and writes software code. Work closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Solid knowledge of Java (Object Oriented Programming concepts). React and Redux JavaScript libraries experience. Solid knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Service Offerings (CSO) Adheres to program configuration change control standards. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application. Experience under formal software development processes. Critical thinker with the ability to demystify complex technical requirements. Knowledge of Secure coding practices, source code vulnerability mitigation, and remediation. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: IAWIP 8570/IMMA Level 2 Certification; CISSP, CISSM, etc., Experience working with MicroFocus (formerly HP) Fortify Static Code Analyzer Familiarity with Nessus and/or RMF desired.
