Job Description

Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques

Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security

Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages

Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software

Roles and Responsibilities:

This individual will be responsible for creating automated End-to-End application tests, implementing package version updates, resolving code vulnerabilities and fixing SonarQube code smells. Developer should be able to code independently and document / demo the automated tests to other team memb ers. This role also requires experience with Agile methodology, scrum ceremonies, Cloud deployments and SDLC tools.

Mandatory Skills:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Able to create automated End-to-End application tests using cypress or other similar library

Experience implementing package version updates, resolving code vulnerabilities and fixing SonarQube code smells

Experience with python and various python libraries

Experience with backend frameworks like Django / Flask

Experience with Frontend frameworks like React JS, Chart JS or AG-Grid.

Experience with querying MySQL databases

Experience with software development tools such as SonarQube, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Jules / Jenkins build and deployment pipeline

Experience with Agile and Lean philosophies, scrum ceremonies, Kanban

Strong communication, critical-thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams with varying levels of experience to achieve common goals

Good to have Skills:

Experience working with large scale software development efforts

Experience with private Cloud deployment
