Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to assist with the accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients in the Entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Enter brokerage/retirement account activity and update values.
• Code out credit card statements between several entities and calculate totals.
• Review general ledger, make adjusting entries, and reconcile accounts.
• Accounts payable
• Process payroll
• Payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
• Annual tax filings (1099's)
• Prepare tax packages to be presented to outside CPA.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience doing Bookkeeping/Accounting for multiple clients at once.
• Prior experience working at a Business Management firm or CPA/Public Accounting Firm.
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and QuickBooks desktop.
• Familiar with inEntertainment software a huge plus.
• Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognize errors and the ability to correct them.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and other employees.
• Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
