Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing Addiction Recovery Center seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Highlights of the Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity:
- Founded in 2016, our client owns and operates halfway houses and a recovery day center.
- They have grown year over year since inception and are continuing to add programs.
- Reporting to the Founder, this individual contributor role will own all day-to-day accounting and reporting.
- The vision for the near future is for this position to add financial analysis and reporting processes to help the founders make informed decisions.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper's Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate financial records, develop accounting systems, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and collaborate with team members to achieve objectives.
- Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; and reconciling entries.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; and advising management on needed actions.
- Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
- Ensuring each patient's medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Preparing bills and invoices and document amounts due to medical procedures and services.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Must be comfortable in an individual contributor role where you are comfortable working independently and being the only true accounting expert on staff.
- Medical Billing experience is preferred but not required.
