Job Description Training Manager Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. TACTRACGRULANT's Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) team is seeking a Fleet Synthetic Lead with expertise in Fleet Synthetic Training to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. The FDTPS team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps personnel to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups and Amphibious Squadrons staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready. Duties include: Provide oversight and management of contractor personnel supporting FST exercises/events to ensure all tasks and assignments are accurately completed.
Assist government lead with synthetic training planning and execution to ensure training objectives are accomplished.
Lead, advise, and provide subject matter expertise on naval synthetic modeling and simulations (JSAF, MTWS, etc.).
Provide lead expertise and support on C5I systems (GCCS-M/J, MDS, air defense systems integrator (ADSI), theater battle management core system (TBMCS), and joint automated deep operations coordination system (JADOCS), etc).
Oversee planning and support live (COMPTUEX, TFEX, LSE, CTF-65/50 CERTEX, Surface Warfare Advanced Team Training SWATT , Fleet Battle Experiments, Group Sail,) and synthetic exercises including, but not limited to, FST-J, FST-GC, FST-T (ASW), SLAMEX/TLAMEX, Tactical Flag Communications Center (TFCC) trainers Navy USW Training Assessment Course (NUWTAC) and Naval Integrated Fire Control - Counter Air (NIFC-CA).
Ensure proper coordination, where appropriate, between commands (TTGL/TTGP, EWTGL/ Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific (EWTGP), NSWC-Corona, etc.) to facilitate synthetic training.
Oversee the development of synthetic scenarios in accordance with current naval, joint, and coalition doctrine, TTPs and forward deployed Fleet requirements.
Ensure proper development and testing of synthetic scenarios.
Assist government representatives in debrief of FST exercises in accordance with appropriate MOE using USFF established NMETLs.
Provide recommendations for and development of synthetic augmentation (entities, scenario elements, simulator operators, etc.) to live training exercises.
Provide government lead with appropriate lessons learned from synthetic training exercises and ensure relevant changes are incorporated in future exercises.
Perform duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
8 years relevant experience (10 years if no Bachelor's degree)
Top Secret / Sensitive Compartment Information level eligible
Five (5) years' experience at the senior trainer/evaluator level on a Strike Group or Navy Fleet Command staff or equivalent DoD staff involving mission planning and execution

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
