Freight Coordinator

The Freight Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of crated shipments to destination agents and arrange delivery of these shipments to customers. Compensation is $12-$14/hr depending on experience

Essential Functions:

• Notify destination agent of incoming shipment
• Track crated shipment movement once it has been picked up
• Send all shipment paperwork to the destination agent
• Confirm arrival of shipment to destination agent
• Direct the destination agent to provide an offer date for delivery
• Some overtime may be required during peak season

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of company software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to efficiently manage a large amount of date in an organized manner

Required Education and Experience:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Previous experience with Military Relocation Process

Working Conditions:

• Indoors
• Office Environment
• Sitting for long periods of time
