JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be a key position in the future growth of the company.

This position will be leading a key vertical in the financial management of the company, including financial forecasting, KPI's, budgeting process, operating plan, projectsids costing and pricing, cost analysis and cost controls. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities and other projects requested by management.

This function acts as the analytical/economic engine of the company to provide 'optimal' business decision making.

The position reports to the Group Director of FP&A and will work closely with the S&M team .

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create costing and pricing models for the various product lines and key customers.

2. Utilize data analytical skills to query and analyze large amounts of complex data to identify areas of opportunity to improve company profit.

3. Develop tools to monitor and report on profitability, cost increases, annual price escalations, and recommendations for future improvements.

4. Dedicated to report on key KPI's and cost drivers to facilitate a performance dialogue, manage multiple real time cost control to support GM's and BUM with meeting their monthly and quarterly goals.

5. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

6. Develop financial models and analyses to support sales opportunities and strategic initiatives.

7. BIDs and Contracts review and risk assessments including unusual costs, investments needed and legal wording.

8. Lead the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards, and systems.

9. Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports.

KEY CHALLENGES:

Work in a fast growth and dynamic environment. Hard deadlines regarding to new opportunities preparation modeling requests.

Work with various levels in the organization, from executive members alongside with technical/operational employees.

The role is located at the company's headquarters in Charlotte NC, but it will require travel to either of our locations in Greensboro, NC or Tulsa, OK.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance or economics

5+ years' proven experience in similar or progressive role

Experience in Manufacturing or Aviation preferred

General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles

Strong excel skills is a must

Experience with a major company or a division of a large company

Commercial understanding and proven experience of build cost model

Must be able to interface with all levels of management

Advanced degree preferred (MBA)

Must possess effective oral and written communication skills

Highly organized and ability to prioritize and multi-task
