Forklift Operator

We are in search of a committed candidate to join our team as a Forklift Operator in Austintown, OH. In this essential role, you will be instrumental in our production operations, making significant contributions to our overall success.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Austintown, Ohio

Work Hours: Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime required.

Starting Pay: $15/hour (with a pay increase upon hire)

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.

Load and unload trucks, trailers, or railcars with materials, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.

Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, using forklift attachments as necessary.

Stack and store materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.

Skills/Qualifications:

Valid forklift operator certification/license.

Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

Strong understanding of forklift operation techniques and safety guidelines.
