Job Description - Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift experience required
- Processing each order completely and accurately
- Packing the orders in a safe, effective and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy by order number, product quantity and shipping each order
- Ensure special safety precautions and/or equipment is maintained
- Awareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, & stock rotation.
- Sort and prepare merchandise for RMA request.
- Create and manage vendor and internal transfer documentation
- Prepare merchandise for shipping with necessary and correct documentation.
- Responsible for the verification and accuracy of all outgoing shipments
- Responsible for loading packages onto carriers as needed.
- Responsible for physical inventory count in assigned area.
- Test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Provide driver information for merchandise to relevant departments.
- Supporting technical support activities between outbound and vendors.
- Maintain a clean working area.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and tasks may be required and/or assigned as necessary
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working within Fulfillment, Warehousing, or Manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Must be physically capable of repetitive standing, lifting, bending and stooping for long period of time
Essential Mental & Physical Function
- Walking, stooping, standing, stretching, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to work under extreme environments such as high heat and cold weather
- Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipment
- Job will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold
- Must be able to pick up at least 50lbs
- Stand Up and Sit Down forklift experience
- Position is currently 9am - 6pm but will switch to 7am - 7pm during peak seasons
- Warehouse is located in Union City.
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
