Tow Motor Operator/Forklift Operator
Reports To: Shipping Supervisor
SUMMARY: The Tow Motor Operator is responsible for the accuracy and transporting of all inventory throughout the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates the tow motor around the plant.
- Transports inventory throughout the plant.
- Responsible for the accuracy of location assignment in IQMS when moving inventory.
- Uses WMS to make all inventory movements.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks.
- Weighs parts utilizing the scale to verify part counts.
- Responsible for keeping the inventory and empty inventory bins organized.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Company reports, and documents. Ability to effectively present information to Lead Packer, Shipping Supervisor, and Shipping Manager.
- Computer Skills - Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine
- IQMS activity, BOL websites, word processing, etc.
- Other Qualifications -Tow Motor Certificate required
