Job Details:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Quality Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing. This role is an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for managing and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements, including SQF, HACCP, FDA, Quality, GMP, Batch Record Review, QMS, and Dairy. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including SQF, HACCP, FDA, GMP, and Dairy
  • Conduct regular batch record reviews to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures
  • Lead internal audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures and standards
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and address potential quality issues
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data and develop improvement plans as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes, and adapt quality protocols as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality management role in the food manufacturing industry
  • Extensive knowledge of food manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements, including SQF, HACCP, FDA, Quality, GMP, Batch Record Review, QMS, and Dairy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date on industry trends and continue professional development.
