Responsibilities Maintain all carpet, upholstery and hard floor cleaning using motor driven cleaning equipment. Responsible for knowledgeable use of cleaning chemicals. Schedule all carpet and hard surface cleaning. Clean all carpet and hard surface flooring throughout Hazelden. Report to and/or perform duties of maintenance personnel in the event of emergencies. Assist other staff in lifting or hauling heavy equipment and in duties specifically requiring two people. Initiate work orders for cleaning and other janitorial duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma and equivalent Skill and ability to guide one's own work flow, priorities, resources and/or performance without external control or influence. Skill and ability of arranging activities on a timetable to meet established priorities Preferred Qualifications 2-3 years floor care experience including carpet and hard floors. Knowledge of floor care equipment and chemicals including appropriate storage methods for supplies and the ability and skill to meet safety requirements for storage. Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding methods, disposal and storage of chemicals and cleaning products. Knowledge of safety precautions, procedures and equipment and the ability and skill to recognize situations which require their use; ability to recognize potential safety hazards. Min USD $15.30/Hr.
