Night Shift Flexographic Press Operator

Equipment: Mark Andy 2200 and similar flexographic presses (Gallus, Comco, Nilpeter, Aquaflex)
Inks: UV and water-based inks
Production: Various high-quality pressure-sensitive labels
Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Description: We are currently seeking experienced Night Shift Flexographic Press Operators to join our team in Edinburgh, Virginia. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining Mark Andy 2200 and similar flexographic presses, utilizing both UV and water-based inks to produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic presses to produce labels according to job specifications.
- Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating flexographic presses, preferably Mark Andy 2200 or similar models.
- Proficiency in UV and water-based ink printing.
- Experience with Gallus, Comco, Nilpeter, or Aquaflex presses is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work night shift hours.
