Job Summary + Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member. + Synthesizes information from a variety of sources to develop and implement and individualized collaborative plan of care. + Documents the actions taken to address the plan of care. Works closely with the care team to coordinate patient activities for complete patient continuum of care. + Provides timely, continuous, age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patients and families for the next level of care. + Provides and documents nursing care to patients of all ages. Education and/or Experience + Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. + 3 years of experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Licensed as a LPN in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required. + Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained. Work Schedule + Position requires 72 hours worked in a six-week schedule equating to 624 hours annually, not exceeding 1248 hours in a 12-month period. + Six weekends required annually.
