Avera is currently seeking a Flex Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings. Position Highlights: + Positive Work Environment: Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care. + Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients. + Avera St Mary's Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospital Job Summary + Under the direction of the Director of Nursing the RN is responsible for the planning and coordination of direct resident care services. + Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team. + Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient situations. + Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Director of Nursing. Education and/or Experience + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. + Associates Degree is required. + 3-5 years experience is required. Licensure/Certification/Registration + Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure + Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. (Offered on-site) Work Schedule + Day/Night shifts; PRN + 6:00 am - 6:30 pm or 6:00 pm - 6:30 am + 6 weekend shifts per year Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
