Fleet Mechanic

Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA, seeks a third-shift full-time Fleet Mechanic to maintain the company fleet. This position will focus on preventative maintenance and emergent work orders to maintain 70 diesel semi-trucks, trailers, and other gas-powered vehicles. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles Preventative maintenance focused on diesel and gas-powered vehicles Refrigerated trailer maintenance Basic wiring and lighting Prioritize emergent work orders Maintain tools and work areas Pick up and deliver vehicles Qualifications: 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude Knowledge of shop equipment Strong troubleshooting skills Thermo King experience a plus Valid CDL Class A Driver's license preferred (will be required to obtain Class A license via on-the-job training) Curtze's premium benefits include: Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), 401(k) match, pet insurance, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, voluntary accident insurance, flexible spending account, employee discount, paid holidays, paid time off, and Christmas Club.
