Overview of the Fixed Asset Accountant role: - This Fixed Asset Accountant reports directly to the Controller
- The Fixed Asset Accountant will review all month-end fixed asset activities to include monthly depreciation and other month-end journal entries
- This Fixed Asset Accountant will reconcile all fixed asset and accumulated depreciation general ledger accounts
- This Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for ASC 842 lease accounting compliance
- The Fixed Asset Accountant will prepare monthly financials for fixed assets
Preferred Qualifications for the Fixed Asset Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
- 3+ years accounting experience
- 1+ years fixed asset experience
- Must be proficient in Excel
