OVERVIEW OF THE FIXED ASSET ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Fixed Asset Accountant reports directly to the Controller
- Review all month-end fixed asset activities to include monthly depreciation and other month-end journal entries
- Reconcile all fixed asset and accumulated depreciation general ledger accounts
- Responsible for ASC 842 lease accounting compliance
- Fixed Asset Accountant will prepare monthly financials for fixed assets
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR FIXED ASSET ACCOUNTANT:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
- 3+ years accounting experience
- 1+ years fixed asset experience
- Fixed Asset Accountant must be proficient in Excel
