Overview:
RiverWoods Exeter is currently hiring for a Fitness Associate to join our team in Exeter, NH. U nder the supervision of the RiverWoods Exeter Fitness Manager, the primary role of the Fitness Associate is to provide fitness services for Residents. This is a 32-40 hour a week position spread over 5 days.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaches group fitness classes for staff and residents with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe and effective performance of various kinds of physical exercise.
  • Teaches a variety of fitness classes for residents.
  • Provide individualized personal training as assigned.
  • Contributes to an active, healthy culture for all RiverWoods residents and staff.
  • Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
  • Follow up on resident concerns related to Fitness and to either reach a resolution or forward recommendations to the RWE Fitness Manager.
  • Maintain current and thorough records for Personal Training Clients to ensure continuity of service and clear reports to Health Care as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized work spaces for Fitness (classroom, gym, pool, storage areas at all campuses).
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality within the department and RiverWoods.
  • Abides by the RiverWoods of Exeter Code of Conduct at all times.
Qualifications:
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, approximately 7:30 am to 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE: Three-year experience teaching group exercise instruction and personal training; experience working with a geriatric population is preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and training to provide services to geriatric residents. Good time management and organizations skills. Ability to work independently.

CERTIFICATION: Land Certification ACSM, ACE, SFA, AFAA required. First aid, CPR. Yoga, Zumba Gold, Pilates, and/or aqua is beneficial.
