Financial Service Specialist

Provide prompt, efficient and friendly service to all customers
Assist customers with all their banking/financial needs to include but not limited to;
o Opening/closing accounts
o Assistance with account discrepancies
o Spending plans
o Loan applications
o Monetary transactions
o Assistance with all other available bank services and products

Operate and balance a cash drawer, to include the vault and ATM
Accountable for the achievement of monthly targets as assigned
Perform other tasks assigned as they relate to the bank and its functions
Open and close the bank
Perform cash and consigned items audits
Transaction approval authority as assigned using the FHNB Approval limit card.
Coach, train and mentor coworkers
Assist employees with problem solving and difficult customer situations
Assure adherence to established policies and procedures
Oversee all daily operations in the absence of management

Physical Requirements:
Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch location
Operate a computer and other office machinery
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Must have a strong desire and ability to build long term customer relationships thorough passion, commitment, listening and understanding.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time.
Must have demonstrated the ability to proficiently perform all job requirements of a Financial Service Representative and have completed and passed all required CBT's.

Preferred:
3-6 Months experience working in a customer service environment
3-6 Months experience handling and balancing large sums of money
