Manger of Financial Reporting

The Manager of Financial Reporting will manage the process to complete projects and recurring activities within three primary areas of responsibility:
-Fiscal period-end accounting close and consolidations
-Financial reporting
-Technical accounting

Within these areas, you will be responsible to complete the financial statement close and consolidation reporting process, prepare the Company's monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, assist the Director of Finance in collaborating with the external auditors to complete the quarterly reviews and annual audit, build and maintain reporting data, update accounting and control policy standards, and interpret and evaluate US GAAP guidance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
-Manage the consolidation process for budget, forecast and actual results
-Lead the monthly consolidated financial close controls process including balance sheet and income statement analytics, statement of cashflows, and other monthly financial reporting requirements
-Responsibility for maintaining overall structure/organization of General Ledger
-Complete monthly reporting to related-party companies
-Compile audit support for the consolidated financial report and related footnotes
-Assist with preparation of audit process walkthroughs
-Perform process improvement assessments and make recommendations to simplify and standardize internal and external reporting
-Evaluate, develop tools, resources and reports to help drive reporting efficiencies and comprehension
-Provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document accounting issues in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner
-Assist with internal and external compliance efforts (i.e., annual audited reports, parent reporting, etc.)
-Monthly reconciliation of certain general ledger account (Prepaid Assets, Misc
Accruals, etc.)
-Participate in the budget process including working with department managers developing budgets for various key departments including R&D, IT, and others
-Support Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains upgrades, incremental functionality, and module deployments
-Participate in other projects as required

Environment:
This client is currently operating in a hybrid environment, this individual will be asked to work in office 2 days per week

Compensation:
$120,000 - $130,000
