We are currently seeking a Financial Consultant to join our team in Springfield, VA to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. This position is ON-SITE daily and an Active TS Clearance (with ability to obtain SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph) is required to be considered. What you'll do: As the Financial Consultant, you will serve as a key contributor to help our client with financial analysis, and policy review/formulation. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous financial analysis experience and expertise. Responsibilities: Analyzing data from the general ledger, contracts, commitment documents, and other key supporting documents to develop accounting recommendations
Interpreting DoD guidance related to capitalizing, expensing, procuring, administering, and disposing of IUS and IT Hardware assets
Applying critical thinking skills to develop conclusions Engaging in both written and verbal communications with Government POCs, across all levels of the organization
Qualifications: Active TS Clearance (with ability to obtain SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph)
8 or more years of total experience
6 or more years of specialized experience in Department of Defense (DoD) or the IC
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience Academic degrees may be substituted for years of experience, and years of experience may be substituted for academic degrees based on the following:
2 years of school = 1 year of experience.
2 years of experience = 1 year of school
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skill
Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
