Financial Analyst

Perform due diligence and conduct financial analyses related to investments. Employ financial models to develop solutions to financial problems and to assess the financial or capital impact of transactions. Recommend best practices for developing and documenting baseline financial modeling for the organization. Prepare finance and forecasting pro-forma financial statements to inform investment decisions. Analyze company performance on an absolute and relative basis to recommend systematic solutions and protocols. Understand and translate valuation results including DCF, LBO, and market comparable models for possible solution concepts and designs. Review and recommend best practices to management for organizational financial analysis and reporting. Understand and recommend benefit impact, timeliness, and profitability of investments. Document market comparable reports and construct bottom-up financial and operating models. Interpret data on interest rate risk and foreign currency risk and report results to management. Monitor economic, industry, and corporate developments by analyzing information gathered from financial publications, government agencies, trade publications, and company sources. Oversee company assets. Deliver executive presentations for investors, CEOs, and CFOs. Monitor investment and potential investment opportunities in the US, Mexico, and Latin America. Recommend investments and provide finance and management consulting services for companies in Mexico and Latin America. 5% US travel per year required. All costs paid by employer. Other Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics plus 1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst or a substantially similar position. Must have 1 year of experience performing all of the following duties: performing due diligence and conducting financial analyses related to investments; providing complex financial data and trend analysis, risk analysis, and developing financial models for investments in the US, Mexico, and Latin America; preparing finance and forecasting pro-forma financial statements to inform investment decisions; and monitoring investment and potential investment opportunities in the US, Mexico, and Latin America.
