Financial Analyst
CFS is partnering with an organization in the greater Springfield area who is looking to grow their finance team.
About the Financial Analyst Role and Company: - This position will report to the Sr. Financial Analyst
- Our client will support you in this role and provide hands on training
- They are dedicated to providing support to their employees and pride themselves on doing so
- They offer flexible hours between 8:00-6:30 PM
- 40 hour work week - No overtime is necessary.
Tasks of the Financial Analyst: - The Financial Analyst will be managing cash allocations
- Retrieving outstanding receivables, including broker reminders and notifying policyholders.
- Executing transactions for premium receivables. Entering receivable transactions into the General Ledger.
- Assisting in the evaluation of receivable reports.
- Drafting Notice of Cancellation letters.
- Managing Premium Finance cancellations.
- Assisting in monthly financial tasks - preparing journal entries, compiling financial statements, and analyzing financial activities.
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst: - Our client is looking for technology competent individuals.
- Experience with advanced Excel functions is a bonus, as is exposure to ERP systems
- The ideal Financial analyst will be a self starter
- Finance/accounting degree required
