Your Role:

The Sales Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analyses to support the sales function, driving profitability and efficiency. As a key member of the Sales Finance team, you will support a variety of financial activities such as planning, analysis, and reporting for the Sales function. This position will work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to forecast sales, analyze trends, and develop strategies that align with our goals. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support actual, forecast, and annual plan reporting for the Sales function, which includes field sales, ecommerce, and category management.
  • Daily Sales Reporting to Senior Management.
  • Coordinate forecast inputs and partner with management to validate data accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Communicate critical financial information from Sales to the broader organization, working closely with Corporate and Business Unit finance teams.
  • Support Sales initiatives, including Customer Profitability analysis and Commissions.
  • Partner with the ecommerce team for profitability improvements and new areas of growth.
  • KPI monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-3 years of related professional Accounting or Finance experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office; high proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

  • CPG experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • CPA/CFA certification, or in process of completing.
