The Financial Analyst's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze monthly and annual financial and operational reports and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with Property Managers to provide direction and oversight of operating plans, budgets and forecasts
- Approve and submit reserve draws, third-party contracts, rent increases, non-budgeted expenditures, etc
- Perform post-acquisition activities and integration
- Respond to requests from investors, agencies, property managers, etc
- Review property tax assessments and submit any necessary appeals
- Review insurance requirements and work with broker on new policies and existing policy renewals
- Review rent structures based on market analysis
- Perform periodic on-site inspection property visits
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ year's related experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Able to prioritize and multi-task
