The full salary range for the Financial Analyst 1 is $49,800 - $84,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable university policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Basic knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Basic interpersonal skills; broad service orientation and critical thinking skills; and attention to detail. Under management guidance, uses organizational skills to multi-task in a high volume environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to function as a member of a team. Basic proficiency using spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Acquiring ability to gather reasonably retrievable information to organize and perform basic financial analysis assignments. Basic knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
