Equipping them and their team members with proven practices, acumen, skills, and competitive insights to optimize their practice and deliver industry leading client experiences. What You Will Do:
The FA Employment Specialist will be responsible for the performance management of Financial Advisors including processes and administration of Performance Improvement Plans, including separation of employment for Financial Advisors at Edward Jones if they don't meet performance standards. This role would be responsible for appropriate documentation related to employment separation, discussions with FAs, Regional Leadership and internal stakeholders. This role would need to be able to express a high level of empathy and strong communication as they would be delivering many difficult messages. Other key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the direct conversations with Financial Advisors about going on Performance Improvement Plans, separation of employment or completing the Performance Improvement Plan.
  • Responsible for the documentation and ensuring all processes are followed. This has a high level of risk given lawsuits related to employment separations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on decision making related to employment of FAs, provide recommendations based on a variety of data points.
  • Proactively track and follow up on assignments and provide status updates to Matrix team members.
  • Serves as a SME on Performance Improvement Plans including providing information, guidance and direction on Performance Improvement Plans policies, programs, and processes to FAs and stakeholders
  • Work in collaboration with business stakeholders to assess trends, track and report out on PIP and terminations efforts to influence strategies to support FAs

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate

Hiring Maximum: $98752

Skills/Requirements

What you'll need:
  • Minimum 2+ years relevant experience
  • Experience Mitigating risk
  • Stellar communications and professional collaboration skills (oral and written) with ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals and personalities.
  • Self-Starter mentality with a good sense of professional urgency and consistent follow through

  • Experience using data to recognize trends

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in he office three days per week; with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
