Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to executive team members and establish strong business partnerships across the organization including finance, business operations, data & analytics, growth, transformation, and business excellence

  • Own and direct the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates, as well as the target setting process, including updates, iterations and enhancements

  • Own budget/forecast communications with BU Leadership for feedback sessions, target setting and outcome determination, and present budget/forecasts to leadership

  • Create executive presentations for Senior Leadership reviews / Budget Updates / Comp Committee Meetings, etc.

  • Define and model "driver" expectations for budgeting and forecasting

  • Provide supplemental modeling to BU leadership to enable additional impact analysis

  • Incorporate historical analysis into the target setting process as referenceable information

  • Coordinate, track and manage budget transfers across BUs, cost centers and accounts

  • Own the Operations Investment process, in close coordination with strategic FP&A resources

  • Work with the rest of the FP&A team to prepare templates for budget and forecast processes

  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting calendar

  • Overall responsibility for M&A budget updates

  • Own and launch the firmwide rolling forecast:

  • Requirements gathering from BU leadership as well as FP&A needs

  • Determine technical and process requirements

  • Manage the project, including deliverables, communications and rollout

  • Drive rapid iteration and improvement, especially in early months

  • Drive continuous improvement in process and technology

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for corporate finance and for helping others, a thirst for knowledge and professional development, and a desire for meeting challenges.

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business as it scales to a billion dollars and beyond

  • Ability to inspire confidence and gain trust through excellent service and meeting commitments

  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate

  • 10 years minimum of finance experience with hands-on experience in FP&A

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday financials and Workday Adaptive Planning experience a plus

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any other related field, CPA, MBA or CMA designations preferred

  • Large enterprise corporate finance experience preferred

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. Compensation Range for this position: $160,000 - $225,000 . Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
