CFS is partnering with a local Charter School to add a Finance Manager to their team. Some of the responsibilities for this Finance Manager include:
- Prepare tuition invoices for school districts, prepare applications for state and federal aid in a broad range of educational technology (hardware and software), student meal service, and Special Educational services.
- Conduct bank and other Reconciliations; audit and quality assure posting of revenues and expenses.
- Support business expansion as this Charter School prepares to roll out additional grade levels.
- Monitor bank balances to assure liquidity and maximize interest income.
- Assist auditors and consulting service in resolving questions related to grant reporting.
- Manage day to day oversight of bank deposits, transfers, and payments.
- Link A/P batches to vendor records and G/L in QuickBooks to ensure transparency in documenting payments and accuracy in reporting.
- Adhere to closing calendar.
- Manage 401K program; monitor deductions from employee paychecks and assure correct remittances to 401K carrier.
- Assist staff with enrollment and inquiries.
- Review payroll for accuracy prior to submission.
