Finance Manager Position Overview
We are currently working with a highly-respected Twin Cities based organization who is experiencing strong growth and is looking to hire a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will have the opportunity to work with a highly talented group of professionals. This person will gain valuable experience in a rapidly growing business, specifically working with operations and financial metrics.
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide financial decision support directly to the executive team to impact business strategy
- Develop and maintain the annual budget and forecasts for multiple sites
- Prepare and lead financial reporting and metric analysis to business
- Lead business metrics reporting that drive the success of the business
- Create modeling and sensitivity tools for core business
- Provide analysis for strategic initiatives
- Prepare quarterly Financial Reviews for Board Meetings
- Support and manage the persistency reporting and analytics
- Coach/develop/lead a team of finance professionals
- Identify and execute operations and finance improvement opportunities
Qualifications for Finance Manager:
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of post-grad FP&A experience
- Desire to achieve high personal and team goals
- Extensive management of complex financial projects and investments
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong work ethic and competitive nature
- Extremely articulate
- Positive attitude and sense of humor
