Growing manufacturing company located a bit west of Albany market in Herkimer County is looking for an accomplished Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This individual will be responsible for maintaining consolidated financial reporting for Senior Management. Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze and interpret monthly financial results and forecasts for Senior Management Team.
- Act as team lead for process mapping of accounts as needed to adjust to changing trends and forecasts
- Prepare monthly reporting package appropriately following a close and accurately report to Board of Directors and Senior Management
- Work with FP&A team to identify financial reporting system process improvement opportunities and help lead implementations
- Develop automated reporting solutions that facilitate Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Bank Compliance reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting for Executive management
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred
- Knowledge of Finance/Accounting/GAAP principles and strong business acumen; CPA a plus
- 5+ years of experience in an FP&A or related corporate finance role
- Manufacturing background that includes an understanding of inventory accounting including absorption, standards setting, variance analysis (PPV, Labor/OH variances), etc.
- Proven track record as an effective communicators between Finance and Senior Management
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and advanced skills in Excel required
