Outstanding opportunity with a dynamic public company for a finance professional with experience in analysis of financial results and key operating performance metrics. Reporting to the V.P. Finance/Controller, who is an excellent mentor, this is an opportunity to become a member of a solid finance team and gain considerable insight into the operations of a growing company. The position will work closely with the company President and various operating unit leadership in providing analysis, information, and insight in various financial and operational areas. This includes analysis of monthly financial and operational reports, including comparison to budget and prior periods. This position requires a self-directed individual who has a willingness to handle multiple priorities. In this role you will interact with numerous individuals throughout the organization so excellent communications skills are imperative.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting or finance. CPA with public accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Must have a minimum of four or more years accounting and finance experience, with the majority being in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel and ideally, knowledge of ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and good interpersonal skills are critical for this role. In addition, this individual will need to effectively interact with personnel from all segments of the business, including sales, marketing, manufacturing and corporate.
