Overview of the Finance Manager role:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
- Conduct financial forecasting and modeling to support business planning and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
- Manage cash flow, investment activities, and financial risk management to optimize returns while minimizing risks.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives and projects.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with departmental managers to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings, investors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial trends to ensure compliance and adaptability.
Preferred requirements for the Finance Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of successful financial management and leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
