Field Service Technician

Salary Range: $80k - $100k+ Permanent Position with Benefits. Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire full time Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair large custom electrical control enclosures. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate Trade school or Associate or Bachelor Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering is a plus 4+ years' experience in the electrical controls field with a solid understanding of switchgear (SWGR), motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFD), relay and control panels preferred Previous installation, start-up, & field service experience preferred to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components Mechanical aptitude to assist with large scale controls manufacturing, conduit runs, and field installation to include ability to work in all weather conditions and heights when required Large scale power control systems knowledge with electrical schematics and drawings reading skills Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, IEC, CE, IECex, ATEX, and NFPA) preferred MUST be open to 30% to $95% travel to work on call 24/7, holidays, and weekends when needed Must pass physical, drug, driving, and background check Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
