We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This exciting role is at the heart of our engineering operations, providing critical technical support for our packaging equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery faults and malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and maintenance work completed.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to the equipment and processes.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in packaging technology and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the engineering industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with packaging equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to travel to various field locations as needed.
• A degree or certificate in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
