Role Responsibilities
- Conduct equipment installation ( electrical and computer ), vendor trials, start-up, and commissioning activities for machine vision equipment, primarily in the logistics industry.
- Test and troubleshoot equipment to identify and eliminate problems prior to and during online trials to confirm readiness for sortation.
- Investigate performance issues, determine root cause, and develop permanent countermeasures
- Provide training to onsite maintenance on specification and operation of new equipment
- Check drawings provided by mechanical and electrical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed.
- Traveling to customers' business (100% Travel position) .
