TITLE: Field Service Technician
TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite & 50% travel during the week
START DATE: March/April 2024

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing team
The role will require extended travel completing equipment installations, services, and start-ups on shot blasting equipment
Provide excellent customer service and propel service success that boosts customer satisfaction, increases customer retention, and enhances profitability for the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver service and client support during field visits and calls by analyzing system requirements, diagnosing errors or technical problems, exploring complaints, figuring out suitable solutions, overseeing tests, and solving problems.
• Respond to client tech services emails and calls in a timely manner
  
• Install new machinery and start-ups on site
  
• Conserves customer confidence by keeping service details private
  
• Create daily work schedules
  
• Creating travel plans
  
• Builds rapport with clients by recommending system improvements, identifying solutions, examining complaints, and suggesting improved techniques and methods
  
• Records installation and service tasks by fulfilling reports, forms, records, and logs
  
• Downtime includes working in the Assembly Department constructing new machines as necessary
  
• Create positive relationships with clients
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• At least 2+ years of experience in service
  
• Experience with electronics and machinery mechanics is required.
• Knowledge of PLCs.
• Must be able to problem-solve, repair and test.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts adapting to varying work schedules
  
• Must be able to work with little to no supervision
