Nesco Resource is hiring several Field Service Technicians for a direct hire opportunity in Ansonia CT
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Travel to customer site to install and commission various types of machinery
• Direct, instruct and advise customer personnel as to methods, schedules, safety practices or other matters affecting assembly, operation and servicing of equipment.
• Make field trips to investigate and diagnose reported operating problems both mechanical, electrical and controls.
• Compile regular or special reports as to progress, or concerning problems encountered.
• Furnish any data of value in future designs or installations to the appropriate sales and engineering departments.
• Make repairs or adjustments to correct operation of equipment or advise customer personnel as to how to make such repairs or adjustments themselves.
• Present customer training seminars on equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Other job duties as assigned.
IDEAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Experience in the installation of capital equipment/mahinery
• Experience in designing/testing/building industrial automation and control systems including PID and other control methodologies
• The ideal candidate will have exposure to one or more of the following PLC and/or HMI systems - Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Wonderware, WinCC, Panelview Plus and will have hands-on programming experience
• Experience with industry standard communication protocols like Modbus, DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, ControlNet, Profibus, ProfiNet
• Experience with AC Variable Frequency Drives
