As a Field Service Tech/Engineer, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art packaging equipment at various client locations. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex technical issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
• Training clients on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment to maximize efficiency and longevity.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to improve product design and performance based on field observations and feedback.
• Preparing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records of all work performed.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with packaging equipment.
• Proven track record in the installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical terms.
• Proficient in the use of various diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively to client sites as required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
