Field Service Manager

Contract to Hire

Responsibilities :

Customer Service/Dispatch and Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and manage customer service activities, including receiving service requests, dispatching technicians, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain efficient scheduling processes to optimize technician assignments and resource utilization.
  • Manage all tickets to ensure proper execution, completion and customer follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Close all tickets correctly to allow for proper billing.
Field Management:
  • Supervise field technicians and provide leadership and support to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Implement best practices and procedures to improve field service efficiency and effectiveness.
Project Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and initiation to completion and handover.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within specified parameters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address project requirements and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
Product Staging:

- Coordinate product staging activities to prepare equipment and components for installation, ensuring readiness and availability as per project schedule
Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in field management, preferably in the surveillance, access, networking or audiovisual industry.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in Surveillance/Access Control, networking and/or Audio Visual systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
