Field Service Engineer

JOB DUTIES: 1. Provide technical consultation to understand customers expectations for Hans Laser machinery and equipment; 2. Translate customers requirements from English to Chinese, and work with the Application Engineers in China for sample test; 3. Understand and evaluate new project requirements, and work with the R&D group in China for standard or customized solutions; 4. Translate technical solutions from Chinese to English, and recommend optimized solutions to assist customers in selecting among a variety of Hans Laser machinery and equipment to realize customers specific business needs, such as being applied in specific materials and in different manufacturing processes, achieving various production volumes, and utilizing specific assistant systems to meet production quality requirements; 5. Conduct tests on customized Hans Laser machinery and equipment, and perform simulation on manufacturing process by demoing laser machinery and equipment in the lab to finalize the best solution for customers; 6. Test and adjust laser machinery and equipment to ensure functionality before delivered to customers facilities for use; 7. Provide onsite technical support upon request to ensure quality and estimated yields of customized laser equipment meet customers requirements; Assist customers with installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of customized Hans Laser machinery and equipment. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering; 2. Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese. SALARY: $116,085 per year WORKSITE: 4224 Clay Business Dr. Bldg 18, Katy, Texas 77449.
