Field Project Manager / Superintendent - Environmental / Construction Position Type: Direct Hire Position Salary: Houston, TX (Candidates can reside anywhere within the US) Position Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus Responsibilities: Assume the pivotal role of overseeing all on-site project operations, meticulously ensuring that projects are executed with the utmost focus and adherence to safety, schedule, budget, and site plans. Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, adept time management skills, and a "lead from the front" attitude. Coordinate a diverse team of craft employees including equipment operators, laborers, subcontractors, and mechanics. Ensure all personnel comply with company safety standards and programs. Ensure implementation and quality of project plans. Maintain effective schedule and cost control methods. Detail planning and coordination of work two weeks in advance. Lead on-site meetings with project staff, subcontractors, and clients. Maintain accurate daily field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence. Maintain a high level of communication with craft employees, clients, and company management. Respond to site changes and challenges in an affective timely manner. Cultivate and maintaining a strong relationship with the client and project oversite. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED a minimum, higher education / certifications are a plus. Experience managing multiple aspects of large-scale environmental projects and services from the 5M - 100M range. HAZWOPER training is highly preferred, but not required Exposure to and familiarity with any of the following areas of technical knowledge is highly desirable but not all are required: Scope & Services: Excavation/Backfilling, Cap and Containment Installation, Dewatering & Water Treatment, Decommissioning, Decontamination & Demolition, Abatement Sediment Removal & Wetland, MGP (Manufactured Gas Plant), Pipelines, Coal Ash Impoundment & Landfill Closure, Mine Reclamation and Remediation, Active Refineries, Residential Remediation, Slurry Wall Installation, In-Situ Stabilization (Soil Mixing - Deep Auger), In-Situ Stabilization (Soil Mixing - Excavator Bucket), Ex-Situ Stabilization, Drilling, Sheet Pile Installation, Dredging Equipment & Maintenance: Excavator with GPS capabilities and Demolition attachments, Bulldozer with GPS capabilities, Loader with scales, Water Truck, Skid Steer, Man Lift/Scissor Lift, Articulating Dump Truck, Telehandler, Water Truck / Pumps, Generators, Fleet Vehicles, Powered hand tools, Mathematical Conversions: Slopes, Cubic Yards, Square Footage, Density Conversions, Tonnage Project Plans: Interpretation, Scaling, Specifications Basic computer knowledge is preferred. Strong communication skills both verbal and written is a must. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment.
