The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will provide technical supervision and operating support of CAMERON process equipment and supporting utility systems within customer facilities during commissioning, start-up, operations, performance testing, and trouble-shooting situations as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitors key and critical operating variables and other process data to ensure that the units are operating within design parameters
- While on-site, attends operations meeting with client personnel to proactively identify issues and lead the efforts to resolve them
- FSE will participate in construction activities to ensure process designs are optimized for operability and safety, identifying improvements in unit operations based on actual field experience
- FSE will learn, share, and implement best practices with extended OSF Engineering, Sales, and Operations team members
- FSE will establish working relationships with key customer contacts including operators, engineering and maintenance personnel to proactively manage long term and short term issues
- Participates in safety reviews / meetings and will be a key participant in process hazard reviews
- Monitors Management of Change for assigned projects and technologies, writing procedures for start-up, operations, shutdowns, and for turn-around as needed
- Monitors remote real-time data of operations and provide follow-up with customers as needed
- Performs trouble-shooting to solve operations issues, and may support turn-around activities for customers including identification / justification, procedure writing, reviews, equipment inspection, etc.
Minimum Job Qualifications - Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Ability to operate in an autonomous environment, guiding actions towards company objectives.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in subsea operations.
