Job Summary The Field Development Manager (FDM) is responsible for impacting bottom line growth for Individual and Group Sales through training, coaching, and effective assimilation of new sales Agents, first line Supervisors, and Managers. The FDM will be deliver master training on recruiting/hiring and business planning via classroom facilitation, individual hands-on support, virtual training, and coaching. Responsibilities Deliver Agent and Manager training programs within assigned geographic region. Includes needs assessment, facilitation, tracking, and coordination of appropriate participation. Ensure the standards of the program are embedded and consistent. Drive new Agent success, for assigned markets, at weeks 5, 13, and 26 through the delivery of quality education programs, and meetings that will directly impact Blueprint Success Scores, Agent Retention, and Annual Premium Value (APV). Offer input to content development and facilitator guidelines when needed for all relative sales training programs. Facilitate training for new products, process changes, and compliance related topics. Partner with sales management to facilitate the Agent to Manager promotion process. Identification of talent, assessment of competency development, development of progression plans, and mentoring of new Managers. Facilitate field section of New Agent Development Program. Coordinate training sessions per National program schedule, attend periodically to monitor quality and participation, seek feedback and best practices from participants and circulate recommendations back to Home Office and Zone leadership. Monitor "At-Risk Agents" - assess trends and make recommendations to Market leadership in regard to training needs. Reach out to Agents at risk to assess issues and impact on Agent Retention and facilitate field training as needed. Own the effective execution of the Group Sales Strategy and Enrollment Process. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to Field Managers and Agents.
