Rotating 12 hour shifts 7A-7P/7P-7A

This position requires interaction with other technicians, control room operator, shift coordinator, and supervision within the fiber production organization. Teamwork is critical to operating equipment efficiently.

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility

1.All employees have the responsibility to:
a)Show behavior in line with the SHE and Security risks and agreed controls, including being compliant to DSM and DSM requirements, rules and procedures
b)Address any person behaving in a SHE and Security irresponsible way
c)Report any SHE and Security incidents (including observed risks) to management

4.Work safely and follow all applicable procedures and policies. Abides by DSM LLC and DSM procedures/policies regarding security, inclusive of: employee security agreements; use of non-disclosure agreements with outside parties; control of DSM LLC intellectual property limited to a need to know only basis; no unauthorized use of cell phones, cameras, computers or DSM property; reporting security threats and incidents; proper control of DSM property and keys.

5.Set up and clean all process equipment required for producing ? fiber, secondary stage, in accordance with applicable work instructions, Job Safety Analysis procedures, recipes, and standard operating procedures.

6.Take samples and determine properties of the produced intermediate and finished products.

7.Move, measure, maintain inventory and store raw, intermediate and finished products.

8.Comply with all job-related regulatory and training requirements in a timely manner.

9.Actively promotes team involvement in area. Uses group diversity and individual strengths to positively contribute to the profitability of the company and maintain harmonious working relationships.

10.Responsible for compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, recipes, SOPs, and other related documentation and activities. Ensures Company guidelines and policies relating to quality, safety, housekeeping and cost effectiveness are met.

11.Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures.
Knowledge of scheduling procedures.
Knowledge of changeovers/cleaning/set-up, work instructions
at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a fibers production environment and/or equivalent military technical experience or training.
