07th May, 2024Job Title: Federal Construction General Superintendent - Top SecretOverview: We are seeking a highly experienced General Superintendent with at least 10 years of experience as a Lead Site Superintendent. This individual will be responsible for overseeing projects located near Thurmont, Maryland with a duration of approximately 5 years.
Key Responsibilities: - Successfully complete projects ranging from $1 to $5 million, with a preference for significant elements of self-performed work
- Willingness and ability to work with tools when necessary
- Work on Department of Defense (DOD) sites where clearance/badging are required
- Maintain an active US Government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret)
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including budget management, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Lead Site Superintendent
- Experience working on DOD sites where clearance/badging are required
- Active US Government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret)
- Strong understanding of budget management, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
